MacDale Farms Inc. offers you great tasting Certified Organic beef of the highest quality.
We are a small, fifth generation family farm, located in Hope (Quebec) on the south side of the beautiful Gaspesian Peninsula. All of our cattle are born on the farm, and are never purchased elsewhere. As a result, we can provide a100% guarantee on any animal’s history.
All of our animals are raised according to the certified organic standards of Quebec Vrai, one of the province’s most important organic certifiers. We spent three years in organic transition and 2004 marked our first year as a certified organic producer.
MacDale Farms does not use antibiotics, chemical growth hormones or parasiticides in raising our organic animals. All cattle are fed on rich pastures and grasses as well as with limited amounts of oats and barley. All animal feed is free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and GMO seed is never used. As part of the organic standard, our animals are raised in a stress-free environment.
Our farm is inspected annually by an independent organic certification inspector who guarantees our adhesion to the strictest standards in organic farming and files all necessary reports with Quebec Vrai.
